Life-Stage Housing for Young Families
A proposal to design housing for young families as Australia already does for older Australians. Family-suitable homes would be reserved for eligible buyers so families are not outbid by dual-income households, downsizing retirees, and investors, and sited near over-55s housing so grandparents can live close to their grandchildren. Extending an accepted life-stage principle to the start of family life.
